A two-piece grouping of Continental porcelain comprising a tall baluster-form vase with elaborate gilt rococo revival handles modeled as scrolls with grape clusters, lavishly hand-painted with multicolored floral bouquets and enriched with raised and brushed gold, together with a footed compote similarly decorated with polychrome florals and gilt scroll borders in the Dresden manner. Both pieces display the high-quality late 19th-century European floral painting tradition. Good overall condition with no visible chips or cracks; light gilt wear consistent with age.
