Continental porcelain vase, probably German or Austrian, early 20th century, of flattened pear-shaped form with tall square-section neck, the yellow-ground panels finely hand painted with polychrome floral bouquets to one side and romantic courting couples in landscapes to the others, within gilt and scroll borders, the base with underglaze blue pseudo-Meissen style mark. Height approx. 11 3/4 in. Light surface wear and minor rubbing to gilding; no chips or cracks observed.
