Description:
Assembled group of four decorative articles, late 19th to early 20th century, comprising two biscuit barrels and two blue jasperware-style pieces. The biscuit barrels include a pink-ground enamelled glass example decorated with a Rococo-style reserve of a courting couple, fitted with ornate metal mounts and an eagle finial, and a blue jasperware ceramic example with white hunting and pastoral reliefs, mounted with a metal lid and swing handle. Also included are two additional blue jasperware-style pieces in the manner of Wedgwood, comprising a small jug and a cylindrical pot with metal cover, each applied in white relief with classical figures and foliate borders. A decorative Victorian and later grouping with strong shelf and sideboard appeal.

Condition:
Overall good antique to vintage condition with expected age and handling wear. Both biscuit barrels show tarnish, patina, and surface wear to the metal mounts. The pink enamelled glass barrel has expected wear to the painted and enamelled decoration. The blue jasperware biscuit barrel has a few small rim nicks and light staining to the relief. The accompanying jasperware-style jug and covered pot show general surface wear consistent with age and display.
