Description:
Assembled group of three decorative objects, comprising a lot of two miniature Holy Bibles, 20th century, including a New Revised Standard Version Bible housed in a small metal and enamel book-form case with white front panel and applied gilt cross, and a smaller earlier American miniature Holy Bible containing the New Testament in black paper covers, both originally contained in a worn leatherette outer case; a small Continental decorative wall medallion, late 19th to early 20th century, with a cast metal relief of a contemplative putto after Raphael’s Sistine Madonna, signed A. METRA(Y) to the lower edge, mounted in a beaded gilt frame with segmented cream surround described as ivory/ivorine composite; and a mid-20th-century inlaid bone and wood bangle bracelet, probably Indian or African export, formed as a wide laminated band of carved bone panels over a hardwood core with black geometric inlay to the upper border. A varied small cabinet group with devotional, decorative, and ethnographic appeal.

Condition:
Overall good, with expected age and handling wear. The miniature Bibles and outer case show rubbing, small losses, and page toning; the enamel book-form case has light surface wear. The putto medallion has age patina and partial gilding loss, with age cracks and a stable split to the cream surround, and rubbing to the frame. The bangle has minor surface wear, small age-related hairline cracks at some joints, and light abrasions to the interior wood.
