A five-string banjo marked “Harmony” to the headstock, with model designation “RESO-TONE,” also reading “STEEL REINFORCED NECK” and “MADE IN U.S.A.” The instrument features a round black resonator body, with a rim and back that appear to be plastic or painted metal, a long straight wooden neck with dot position markers, and chromed metal hardware. The white drumhead is likely synthetic. Decoration and finish are plain and utilitarian, consistent with mass-produced, entry-level instruments of the mid-20th century, well-known as reliable student models for folk and bluegrass. The instrument shows moderate finish chipping and surface wear to the neck and headstock, with scuffing on some hardware, but appears structurally intact from the photographs provided. Dimensions: Height 38 1/4 in, Width 11 in (body diameter, estimated), Depth 3 in (estimated). With case.
