Hand-thrown Korean celadon glazed stoneware vase, ovoid form with short straight neck and slightly flared mouth, the pale blue-green glaze with allover crackle. The body is decorated in reserved cartouche panels with a subtle inlaid scene of ducks swimming among reeds, framed by a scalloped border. The surrounding ground carries a dense pattern of small raised dots, above a band of stylized petal lappets around the foot. The neck is encircled by a key-fret border and the shoulder with a cloud-lappet motif. The base is fully glazed with an unglazed footrim, inscribed with Korean characters and an impressed seal mark, indicating studio or artist production. A fine modern interpretation of traditional Goryeo-style celadon. Condition: no chips, hairline cracks, or restorations observed under normal inspection; glaze with intentional allover crazing typical of this ware, with a few darker craze lines more visible on the base; minor firing imperfections including small pinholes and glaze bubbles, especially to the underside, and a few tiny iron specks in the glaze; very light surface wear to the footrim from display. Height approx. 11 in.; max. diameter approx. 6 1/2 in.
