A single armless upholstered slipper or 'boudoir' chair with serpentine S-curved back, carved walnut (or similar hardwood) frame, pronounced floral damask upholstery in pale goldish-green, decorative gimp braid and upholstery tacks, and four cabriole legs terminating in white ceramic casters with brass mounts. Characteristic late Victorian or revival style, likely c. 1860–1900. The chair displays visible patina and surface wear to both wood and upholstery, but retains strong decorative appeal. Structurally complete and visually attractive, with expected minor wear consistent with age and use. Please note the house tenant occasionally smoked.
